Cookie policy
Last updated: 29 de mayo de 2026
This page explains which cookies and which similar technologies (your browser's localStorage) Counterdeck uses, for what purpose and how you can disable them. It is written in accordance with article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and with the AEPD guidance on the use of cookies.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages (that you have signed in, which language you prefer, etc.). Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are used to measure or personalise. European law only requires consent for non-essential ones.
Your browser's localStorage is a similar technology, in which the site stores information on your device without automatically sending it to the server. For the purposes of this policy it is treated under the same criteria as cookies.
2. Which cookies do we use today?
At the time of writing this policy, Counterdeck only uses cookies and technical storage that are strictly necessary or preference-based, exempt from prior consent according to the AEPD guidance. We do not use advertising cookies, nor social-network cookies, nor third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, GTM, etc.).
2.1. Technical and session cookies (essential)

counterdeck-chat-q-count | Keep count of questions in order to show informational messages. |

3. Cookies we do NOT use
As of today we do not install on your device any cookie or script from:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager nor Google advertising cookies.
- Meta Pixel, nor Facebook / Instagram cookies.
- TikTok Pixel, X / Twitter, LinkedIn Insight Tag.

The project integrates Sentry for error monitoring, but the instrumentation is disabled until its production key is configured. If we activate it in the future, we will update this policy and request prior consent where applicable.
4. How to disable or delete cookies?
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies from this site. Bear in mind that if you block Clerk's technical cookies you will not be able to sign in and many features will stop being available. Official guides:
5. Changes to the policy
When we incorporate new technologies that use cookies (for example, analytics or advertising), we will update this policy and, when the law requires it, we will ask for your consent via a banner before installing them.
